Community Guidelines
Effective date: September 19, 2026
iMeetPlace is for adults who want to meet other people at real places. These guidelines say what is and is not allowed, how to report a problem, and what happens when someone breaks the rules. They are part of the Terms of Use.
1. Be who you say you are
- Use your real first name and your own recent photos. Your first photo must show you clearly, on your own.
- State your age truthfully. iMeetPlace is for people 18 and older only.
- One account per person. Do not sign up on behalf of someone else, and do not impersonate anyone.
2. Treat people with respect
You may not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse anyone, on or off the app;
- post or send content that is hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or that targets someone because of who they are;
- share anyone's private information, photos or messages without their permission;
- pressure anyone to meet, to move to another app, or to send money or intimate content.
3. No exploitation of children — ever
iMeetPlace has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. Any content, message or behaviour that sexualises a minor, solicits a minor, or shares child sexual abuse material leads to immediate removal, preservation of evidence, and reporting to the authorities. Our full Child Safety Standards are public.
4. Keep it real
- No scams, no soliciting money, no selling goods or services, no promoting other businesses to members.
- No spam, no bots, no automated activity.
- Do not misrepresent a venue, claim a listing you do not manage, or post misleading offers.
5. Keep it on iMeetPlace
The app enforces these rules automatically, for everyone, with no setting to turn them off:
- No links, usernames or handles in your bio, your photos or your messages.
- No social media or messaging apps — by name, nickname or slang (Instagram, "IG", "the gram", Snapchat, "snap", TikTok, OnlyFans, WhatsApp, Telegram and the rest), however it is spelled.
- No payment apps, cashtags, crypto, gift cards or requests for money.
- No sexual content or sexual advances, in messages or on profiles.
- No screenshots of conversations. On Android a screenshot of a chat comes out blank; on iPhone a screenshot shows a warning and is recorded.
6. Meets
A Meet is a plan between members at a real venue. Show up when you say you will, or cancel in the app. Repeated no-shows lower your reliability and can limit features.
7. Report and block
- Report anyone from the three dots on their profile or in a chat. Choose a reason ("Looks under 18", "Unsafe", "Fake", "Inappropriate", "No-show", "Other") and add details. Reports are confidential: the person you report is never told who reported them.
- Block stops all contact both ways, immediately.
- Anything you cannot report from a screen, send through Me › Help & Support or email the address at the bottom of this page.
- If you are in danger, contact local emergency services first.
8. What we do
Reports go to the iMeetPlace safety queue and are reviewed by a person. Depending on what we find we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account, or refer the matter to law enforcement. When we suspend an account we record the reason. If you believe a decision was wrong, email us with the subject "Review my account" and a person will look at it.
