Child Safety Standards
Effective date: September 19, 2026
iMeetPlace is an app for adults (18+) to meet other adults at real places. These standards describe how we prevent, detect, report and remove child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on iMeetPlace. They apply to every member, every venue and every part of the service.
1. Prohibited
iMeetPlace prohibits, without exception:
- any content or behaviour that sexualises, grooms, solicits or exploits a person under 18;
- child sexual abuse material of any kind, real or generated;
- attempts by anyone under 18 to use the service, and any attempt by an adult to contact a minor through the service;
- coded language, links or off-platform arrangements intended to do any of the above.
2. Prevention
- Every member states a birthdate at sign-up; iMeetPlace requires members to be 18 or older and refuses younger birthdates.
- Profile photos are checked automatically before they appear, and can be reviewed by a person.
- Members can only message each other after a mutual connection, and every Meet takes place at a partner venue.
3. How to report
- In the app: open the three dots on any profile or chat, choose Report, and select "Looks under 18" or "Unsafe". Reports are confidential.
- By email: write to contact-us@imeetplace.com with the subject "Child safety". You do not need an account to report.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
4. What happens next
- Reports marked "Looks under 18" or "Unsafe" are flagged as critical in our safety queue and reviewed first, by a person.
- Accounts involved are suspended while we review. Content is removed from the service.
- Where we find apparent CSAM or child exploitation, we preserve the relevant records and report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by United States law, and cooperate with law enforcement requests through lawful process.
- Accounts found to belong to a minor are closed.
5. Point of contact
Child-safety matters, including requests from law enforcement and child-protection organisations, reach our designated child-safety contact at contact-us@imeetplace.com (subject "Child safety"). We answer these reports before any other support request.
6. Compliance
iMeetPlace complies with applicable child-safety laws, including United States reporting obligations, and with the child-safety requirements of the app stores that distribute the app. We review these standards at least once a year and whenever the law or our service changes.
